About Garfield County Criminal History

Garfield County criminal records are divided among the sheriff, two trial-court clerks, the Nebraska State Patrol Criminal Identification Division, state corrections, and the Nebraska Sex Offender Registry. We organize the official routes so a reader can identify the right custodian, portal, address, or phone number without treating those different records as one database.

Why We Built This Site

Nebraska provides several public access paths, yet each one produces a different record. Garfield County law enforcement maintains reports it creates. County Court and District Court keep the charge, docket, and disposition files assigned to their respective levels. The Nebraska State Patrol Criminal Identification Division supplies the statewide RAP product, NDCS handles state custody information, and the Nebraska Sex Offender Registry serves public notification. We bring the researched fees, request steps, contact details, and official links together while keeping those boundaries clear.

  • Agency contacts: where to reach local clerks, the sheriff, and the statewide systems connected to Garfield County

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately operated reference resource with no affiliation to a Nebraska court, law-enforcement office, or state agency. Those limits matter:

  • We do not issue certified court documents, RAP sheets, or agency reports.
  • We cannot submit a sealing motion, public-record request, or other filing for a reader.
  • We do not run official checks or retrieve a criminal record for an individual.
  • We cannot interpret a charge or case as legal advice.
  • We cannot promise that an agency's address, fee, or procedure has not changed.

An official copy must come from the Garfield County custodian, the court clerk, or the Nebraska State Patrol, not from this private resource.

Search Partners

Third-party providers power search boxes on some pages. They control their own results, prices, and services. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports access to this resource. We do not set the provider's charges or decide what its search returns.
